If Christ did not die on the cross, we would have not been redeemed
from the shackles of sin but Christ has come into the world taking human flesh
and been born by a virgin (Mary) to save us all from inherited sins from Adam
and to open the gate of heaven for us all.
Jesus Christ descended into hell after his dead by this; he
has fought the power of
death overpowered death and brought us victory by
rising again on the third day. As such death don’t have power over us as Christians,
though we must all die but the difference is that when we die, we lives. That is
to say we die to live and our living after death is the hope of every Christian.
As sin came to the world through the hand of one man (Adam)
so also does salvation come to the world through the hand of another one man
whose name is Jesus Christ Of Nazareth. The bible tells us that God created
everything in heaven on on the earth and looked at them and says it was good;
He loves everything he created which man is the head. If God should love plants
and animals he created, imagine how much love he will have on man who is the
head of all creatures. Man went against Gods love by sin but because God loves
all he created just as the love of mother to his children, God could not allow
his creature to wallow in darkness and he sent his only Son Jesus Christ to
come for our redemption.
What can we do to
reciprocate the Love of God for mankind?
Seeing how much God loves us, we must try our best to show
some love in return by loving God with all our hearts, abstaining from anything
God hates, keeping all the 10 commandments of God by
1. Not having any other God except Him
2. We should never call the name of God in vein
3. We should always keep the days of obligation holy
4. Respecting our parents that our days might be long
5. Never shall we be involve in killing of other humans
created by God it will annoy God
6. Keep not any bad company
7. God prohibits thieving we should all work hard to make
sustain our living
8. Don’t tell false stories against your neighbor for any
reason
9. Stop sleeping with another man’s wife; be contempt with
what you have
10. Stop envying your neighbor’s property, strive hard to
get yours.
If we can do all the above ten commandments of God, then we
are reciprocating God’s love for us. God gave us those Ten Commandments and ask
us to keep them. It’s only those who hate God will go contrary to the will of
God.
Above all lets love our neighbor as we love ourselves. If we
have the type of love God has for us against our neighbors, I tell you the
world will become a better place to be. Let’s join hands together and change
the world for good and for the glorious reign of peace.
