Free browsing: Simple server configuration Simple server has been in use over a period of time now and those that know about it have been using it to browse and download unlimited on their computer. With simple server, you can browse and download up to 5G a day with your computer using blackberry subscription.

We know that BB subscription is cheaper than Normal subscription that is
why simple server is important as it will allow you access to browse with computer using BB subscription. Normal if you have a blackberry phone, you will notice that when you subscribe to a particular blackberry plan, you will not be able to browse with it on your pc.

So to be able to use BB subscription plan on your pc, you need to have some knowledge of simple server which I will be showing you step by step on how to configure your computer so as to browse with bb plan on it without stress.

The first thing you will have to do to start using simple server is to download Mtn simple server for PC from HERE. After you might have downloaded it, download the set up file from here. This simple server has already been configured but I will also give you the configurations in case something funny happens.

After downloading the simple server, go to your firefox browser under option, go to advanced setting and click on connection setting and set it as follows

HTTP Proxy: 127.0.0.1
Port: 8080
Then click ok

When you have finished with the above procedures, subscribe to any BB plan either daily, weekly or monthly , connect your modem to your computer, open and minimize the simple server application then open your firefox brwser and start flexing.

Note: the Mtn simple server plan works only on firefox for the moment so don’t try connecting it to another browser.
